• With over 6 years working between Middle East and Africa, Luis Cardenas joined LaLiga in 2018 as Delegate in Tanzania, overseeing the expansion of the league in the market. A year after he was promoted to hold the position of Head of Partnerships for Middle East and Africa, based in Dubai. During his tenure, Luis has led strategic projects and new lines of business for LaLiga, all while handpicking the right partnerships within the region.

Prior to LaLiga, he worked as Lawyer for a Boutique Spanish Law Firm in Dubai, and as Trade & Investment Advisor for the Economic and Commercial Office of Spain in UAE.

Luis holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Law & Business Studies by the Universidad Pontificia de Comillas in Madrid, as well as a MBA with focus on International Business Management by ICEX and the Universidad Internacional Menendez Pelayo in Madrid.
